โรงพยาบาลจุฬาลงกรณ์ สภากาชาดไทย

โรงพยาบาลจุฬาลงกรณ์ สภากาชาดไทย เป็นหนึ่งในโรงพยาบาลที่มีชื่อเสียงและเก่าแก่ที่สุดในประเทศไทย ตั้งอยู่ที่ถนนพระราม 4 เขตปทุมวัน กรุงเทพมหานคร ก่อตั้งขึ้นในปี พ.ศ. 2457 โดยพระบาทสมเด็จพระมงกุฎเกล้าเจ้าอยู่หัว (รัชกาลที่ 6) เพื่อเป็นเกียรติแก่พระบาทสมเด็จพระจุลจอมเกล้าเจ้าอยู่หัว (รัชกาลที่ 5) โรงพยาบาลนี้ดำเนินการโดยสภากาชาดไทย และทำหน้าที่เป็นโรงพยาบาลสอนสำหรับคณะแพทยศาสตร์ จุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย มีความจุในการรับผู้ป่วยใน 1,435 เตียง และเป็นศูนย์กลางการแพทย์ที่มีความเชี่ยวชาญในหลายด้าน

โรงพยาบาลจุฬาลงกรณ์ตั้งอยู่ใกล้กับโรงแรมแมนดาริน กรุงเทพฯ ประมาณ 1 กิโลเมตร ท่านสามารถเดินทางไปโรงพยาบาลได้ในเวลาเพียง 10 นาที ทำให้สะดวกสบายสำหรับผู้ที่ต้องการเข้ารับการรักษาหรือเข้าร่วมกิจกรรมทางการแพทย์ที่โรงพยาบาลนี้

ตลาดน้อย

ตลาดน้อยเป็นชุมชนเก่าแก่ตั้งอยู่ริมน้ำเจ้าพระยาในกรุงเทพมหานคร มีประวัติยาวนานกว่า 300 ปี และเป็นแหล่งรวมวัฒนธรรมจีนที่น่าสนใจ เต็มไปด้วยเสน่ห์ของบ้านเรือนโบราณและวิถีชีวิตดั้งเดิมที่ยังคงอยู่ นอกจากการสัมผัสวิถีชีวิตท้องถิ่นแล้ว ตลาดน้อยยังเป็นสถานที่ที่เหมาะสำหรับการเดินเล่น ถ่ายรูปสตรีทอาร์ท และเยี่ยมชมร้านค้าร้านอาหารที่น่าสนใจมากมาย

Erawan Shrine is a sacred place, a popular worship attraction.  Tourists, especially the Chinese make Erawan Shrine as a must destination of their itinerary. At this place one can witness crowd of tourists making wishes, offering and praying  that their wishes are granted. To feel the aura of reverence while watching the joyful celebration of graceful Thai Classical Dance is an experience to be added to your memories of exotic Bangkok. WAT ARUN RATCHAWARARAM TEMPLE OF THE DAWN

Situated by the west bank of Chao Phaya  river, 8 km from the Mandarin Hotel, Temple of the Dawn is a place not to be missed. Wat Arun is one of Thailand most important religious sites. Its distinctive Prang (spire) was decorated with fragment of color glasses and Chinese porcelain. This spire has become a famous landmark of Thailand. Wat Arun is a very popular for tourists, one of the most visited sites in Thailand. From the hotel you can get there by taking MRT to Isaraphap station.

GRAND PALACE

The most wonderful and majestic location is the Grand Palace situated only 5.5 km from Mandarin Hotel. The Grand Palace is well known in the architectural and Thai art forms, decorated every nook and corner of the various buildings with colorful glasses, ceramic and mural paintings. The most revered Buddha Image, the Emerald Buddha Image, is housed in the main Temple in the complex. Visiting Bangkok will not be completed without visiting the Grand Palace. Getting there by MRT get off at  Sanamchai station.

MUSEUM SIAM

Museum Siam located in Sanamchai Road, is set inside a very large neoclassical house. Every room is superbly decorated. It serves as a learning centre of ethnology, anthropology and other fields related Thai society. Museum Siam is a surprisingly exhibition, it is a great introduction to Thailand’s spirit and culture without ever boring. Times will pass faster than you expected with many interactive displays. To go to Museum Siam, take MRT to Sanamchai Station.  It is only 4 km from Mandarin Hotel.

MRT SANAMCHAI STATION

MRT Sanamchai Station is the most beautiful MRT station in Thailand. It is located at the center of Rattanakosin Island, a cultural preserved area surrounding the Royal Palace and the old ancient Bangkok city. The station decorations reflect early Ratanakosin architecture designs which demonstrate beauty and grandeur. MRT Sanamchai Station is only 4 km from the Mandarin Hotel.

WAT RATCHANATDARAM LOHA PRASAT

Wat Ratchanatdaram is the Temple best known for Loha Prasat or Metal Castle. Located in Wat Ratchnatdaram’s area. This  is the only Castle in Thailand which was constructed out of metal. There are only 3 such Castles in the world. Loha Prasat attracts thousands of tourists to visit this Temple every day.  It is just only 4.5 km from Mandarin Hotel.  Getting there by MRT get off at  Sanamchai station 

WAT MANGKON KAMAWAT

Wat Mangkon Kamalawat or Wat  Leng Noei Yi is a Chinese style Temple – a Mahayan Buddhist sect situated only 3 km from Mandarin Hotel. This temple is famous for its large size and designs which reflect Chinese art and architecture. It is one of the most sacred Chinese Temples in Thailand.  Visitation of this temple can be a very enlightening experience. The easiest way to get there is by taking MRT to Wat Mangkon Kamalawat station.  

Temple of the Golden Buddha in Chinatown

One of the main Temples in Thailand worth visiting is Wat Trimit.  The temple is well known for the enormous gold Buddha Image it houses, the largest solid gold Buddha in the world.  The image is 4 meters high with a weigh of 5.5 tons, the image is very much revered by both Thai and Chinese citizens. The temple  is crowded with tourists each day. Wat Trimit is only 2.5 km from Mandarin Hotel.  A visit to Wat Trimit is easily done by taking MRT to  Wat Mangkon Kamalawat station.

Chinatown is the most popular spot for tourist, famous for its colorful life activities. There are plenty of street food variety which attract visitors all over the world.
